Cherry Red Records in UK har satt sammen en ganske billig dobbel CD med sanger fra Beatles’ repertoar da de spilte i Hamburgs klubber, men her er det med de originale artistene.

Så om du er keen på å høre disse sangene men uten den lydkvaliteten som Live at the Star-Club er handikappet med, så har du sjansen. I pakken inngår det også et 36-siders hefte.

Gruppen kunne ikke så mange sanger da de ankom i august 1960, men Beatles utviklet etter hvert et eklektisk og avansert repertoar med mange sanger i en rekke stilarter. Noe av grunnen til dette var at de hadde satt seg fore at de ikke skulle fremføre samme sang mer enn en gang per kveld.
